*i don't own anything unless stated otherwise (serial reblogger). if i do have a source, just click on the picture. • Ask me anythingI once read a theory that since the tardis is the one that is translating all of the doctors language from gallifreyan to english. That at this point he is going over some highly complex formulas on physics he’s learned as a time lord. But that it is so complex that the only words in english that could translate it is physics
^^ that’s my favorite theory for this scene.
Love it.

“Hi! I’m the Doctor. I noticed you were having a bit of a bad day. So! Convinced you’re not important, eh? I’ve never heard a stupider stupid thought in my life. Wait. No. That sounds bad. Misguided, is that a nicer word? I don’t mean that YOU’RE stupid, but just your thoughts are stupid—
Right, anyway. Popped by in the TARDIS to remind you that I have never met someone who isn’t important. And if you’re clever and want to tell me we’ve never met, I’d like to remind you I said, ‘Hi! I’m the Doctor,’ and that counts as an introduction.
You matter. Just remember that. You matter.”
Oh God, I can hear his voice. Those aren’t tears.

Once upon a time I met the Face of Boe with Sarah Jane Smith and then I regenerated. Meanwhile Rory and River Song killed Hitler. The end.

I was hoping for a male companion or a person of color or someone older but I wasn’t really expecting it. Can she be from a different century? Or an alien (that doesn’t look human)? We’ve had 4 main companions from the 21st century in a row. It’s been about 6 seasons of pretty, White (with the exception of Martha), young (with only Donna being slightly older than the rest) women. It’s basically same thing over and over. Characters don’t have to be a certain way to be relatable to the audience.
And if she ends up falling for the Doctor…I might scream.
That being said, I can’t really say anything about Jenna-Louise Coleman’s acting since I’ve never seen her in anything but we’ll see when the episodes come out. I might end up loving her anyways.
